(Feel this needs a disclaimer - i've posted this 2x now, and bit it never makes the board....HMRC conspiracy? :o) )
I am new, and first year I have 'do' the scary tax thing. HMRC states:
"Reasonable estimates for the costs of food and drink provided for the children being cared for are acceptable and receipts will not be required."
What is a reasonable estimate for breakfast/ lunch? A friend charges £2.50 per child for lunch, but this seems a bit steep... Or not? I know I really should go and work out how much it costs me to make a shepherd's pie, then divide it by about 8 portions... but thought I'd try and pick CM club brains :o)
Thanks in advance!
