From what age does child qualify for them?
How much do they give?
Where / how does one go about getting them?

Confused

if you're talking about government funding, then think kids qualify for up to 12.5 hours per week from the term after they turn 3.

you can either go to a council nursery (in which case no charge at all) or some private ones (not all are registered for this scheme - you'd have to check)in which case the nursery would just adjust your bill to relfect that your child was entitled to these free hours.

pretty sure you don't get actual physical vouchers.

(there is a whole different scheme where you sacrifice some gross salary to buy childcare vouchers but I don't think that's what you're atlking about?)

If you are refering to Early Years Education funding (used to be called Nursery Education Grant) children are eligible to receive this from the term following their 3rd birthday. Since Sept 10 its for 15 hours per week over 38 weeks (or 570 hours pa if over more weeks). Max 10 hours in any day & minumum 2.5 hours. It is available from school nurseries, private day nurseries, preschools and accredited childminders & can be split between 2 providers. You can pay extra for more hours & some settings charge for extra services such as meals. The money goes directly to the providers.

If you mean childcare vouchers via your place of work, these are part of a salary sacrifice scheme, no age restrictions and can be used with any registered provider.
