CM Club - charging for meals

I charge separately for meals as many of my children are part time so feel they shouldn't bear the brunt of this cost.

After a recent thread of wanting to give up dinners, it made me think of what the food was costing.

I feed 2 boys who have egg/beef/lamb/milk allergies and are gluten intolerant so spend lots of extra time and money on ensuring they have a decent meal, as well as feeding 3 others who don't have this problem, and as they all love spag bol, shepherds pie, meatballs etc. find myself doing 2 separate dinners.

I currently charge £1.50 for a hot dinner and pudding. I have been charging this for over 3 years and never changed it.

What do you charge for dinners.

I charge the same as a school lunch, currently 1.90. I put my prices up when the school does. I think my cooking is better though! Grin
