CM gift

CM's - if you got a gift card as a gift, where would you want it to? Stuff for minding, like elc or massage/hair place or other?
I'm a teacher and a bit of a geek because I love either vouchers/gift cards to book shops so I can get more books for my classroom library or donations to my favourite charity. I know I'm not normal, so need help.

I always give my CM a Wagamamas gift voucher for Christmas - £30 - so that her and her 2 doughters can go out for dinner on my kids! It seems to go down well!

Thank you! I had not thought of dining vouchers. Will have to investigate where she likes to eat...
Any other cm's? Don't be shy! What would you love a voucher for?

cinema vouchers? voucher for afternoon tea? magazine subscription? massage voucher?

My CM is wonderful but a NIGHTMARE to present buy for! Not convinced she'd like any of the above!

The PO sell a single gift card that can be exchanged at loads of different places. John Lewis good too cos can use at waitrose as well. Or something like Amazon? I'm booky too so book tokens go down well with me

Amazon - as you can use it on stuff for yourself of stuff for the kids like books and toys and you generally don't have to pay for delivery and can browse in the evening rather than having to find the time to go out to the specific shops (that is assuming your cm is happy about ordering things over the internet!)

Or if she has an ipod, an i-tunes voucher - I love getting these so I can stock up on all the songs of my youth (how sad is that!)

I've been given treatments at spa place and massages amongst things and I personally LOVE this stuff as could never afford to pamper myself usually (plus would find it hard to spend money on myself as I tend to think of the kids etc.). But it really depends on the CM as we're all different. A dining voucher would be another lovely thing :)

Thanks!!! Amazon is a good idea. I know some people don't like massages. Would a beauty salon voucher suit everyone? Is there something for everyone? I know I could find stuff but I recently heard a very good friend say she hates massages. I was Shock especially as I'd bought her a massage voucher at local place for Christmas last year...

Beauty salon voucher would not suit me, unless it was a voucher for the specific heath club I already attend. Expect some people may feel similar - they would like it but only if it was somewhere they had been before. Also it could have to have no conditions attached - as childminders/nannies may not have much time available, so may only be able to go at weekends.

Amazon voucher is more practical - can be used to buy things for the CM or for the childcare setting. Various things can be brought, books, toys, music, digital downloads etc. So I feel an Amazon voucher is much more practical - as long as the CM is an internet user.

Love2Shop vouchers can be used at various retailers. So perhaps another option.
