Yes

KatyMac · 20/09/2010 09:09

Yes

hairymelons · 20/09/2010 09:11

Yes. Would expect them to check I could provide it if not.

looneytune · 20/09/2010 09:28

Yes. My policies say breakfast is 7.45am at the latest.

Saltire · 20/09/2010 09:40

Glad everyone agreeswith me. They turned up 10 minute ago. Younger one is sleepingHmm and the dad said "oh he'll be scremaing for milk and food when he wakens". Older one is having shreddies. So neither had been fed!

To be fair, at the weekend, we don't have breakfast until 9.30ish. Having said that, I wouldn't take dd out of the house without having given her breakfast.

StarExpat · 20/09/2010 09:48

A surprise day off? Personally, I'd have just kept ds home with me. But yes, I would assume they had eaten breakfast.

Lucky them that their younger one slept past 9am! Shock. I'd like to know how they did that...

looneytune · 20/09/2010 09:48

saltire - knowing the history of this family, I honestly don't know how you put up with them, I'd have given notice by now! (unless i'm mixing you up with someone else?)

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/09/2010 13:39

Yes but with this family nothing suprises me Hmm

I would have said breakie finishes at 8.30 or actually knowing me I would have been blunt and said why on earth didn't you give your child breakfast at home? Grin

thebody · 20/09/2010 17:21

it would piss me off anyway because i always plan the day and HATE late time keepers. eiteh bring per contract or stay at home( emergencies excepted of course)

I would have expected them to give the children breakfast of course and would have told them so in no uncertain terms..

they sound lazy, feckless and a bit selfish imo

PinkChick · 21/09/2010 14:03

id tell them you missed a playgroup this morning due to them needing brekky when they got here later than planned and put a newsletter out stating times etc for things such as this.
