How much would I expect to pay for these hours?

Hi all I thought this was the best place to post this question. How much would i expect to pay for someone to have my dc for 20mins before school and do the school drop off for me.

Then do the school pick up and have dc for approx 1hr 30min after school.

It would only be 4 days a week. This is in the south west area of the country.

Many thanks.

I think it's about 3.50 an hour where i live

I charge my hourly rate of £4.25 per hour but some CMs near me charge £5.00 per hour for school drop off/pick up.

Depends where in the south west really I am in North Dorset and charge minimum of an hour in the morning and minimum of two hours in the afternoon, I charge this at 4.50 per hour to include drop off (my school run involves going by car, so covers the petrol costs)

Bulford, at the moment there are no quarters and as we have our own house within 45 minutes commute we are staying here for now.

lisad123isgoingcrazy · 14/09/2010 17:36

my old CM would charge me £10 for school pick up and staying till 6pm. Think charges £5 for drop offs.
Why not ring a few and get prices.

Theres a big rebuild of Bulford going on at the moment shoshe. will your dcs be going to school there?

My DC is 31 [grin, DH has done his 22 (actually 24 as did boys service and is 10 years younger than me Grin) He is now in MPGS

I am trying to decide weather to stay here once oldest mindee starts school in 2 years, or move to Bulford so that DH dosn't have to commute and stop CMing or stay here and carry on a while longer.
