I have been told by an Assessor that I need to have a visitor book. She wanted to sign it when she visited yesterday?

Anyone been told the same? Anyone got one?

THANKS

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
HSMM · 26/08/2010 20:55

No. I write visitors in my diary, where I also record the children's attendance. Ofsted have never asked to sign a visitors book.

my meters are outside; I don't work Fridays so arrange workmen for then; I note in the diary if a visitor comes

Ofsted happy with this (was graded Outstanding in June this year)

HSMM · 26/08/2010 22:09

indoor electric metre. Just make a note in my diary of times they are here, but they never have access to the children anyway. Also graded outstanding at the end of last year.

Yep Ive got one, had it since I started,
no one said I had to have one tho,
However I rarely have visitors during the day so its not really been used .

I have one but it is rarely used - I think the last time was when I had to have someone in to service the boiler. The time before that was when the Ofsted inspector came!!
