Colour of show / mucous (apologies TMI)

I am 40+9 and hoping for a VBAC.

This morning when I wiped after having a wee the paper was covered with small yellow/light brown specks.

An hour later I felt like I had wet myself (just a small amount) and although nothing on pad, when I wiped it was very sticky and a yellow/green/brown colour.

Has carried on like this for last hour.
It is more sticky than wet so I am thinking it is a show and not waters leaking.

My question is - is this colour normal (mucous with DS was clear) and should I get checked out because I am trying for VBAC?

I think it's definitely worth getting checked out as green could mean a bit of meconium possibly? Don't want to scare or panic, but I would definitely get it checked out. Call your hospital or midwife unit, always better to be safe than sorry.

(I think shows can vary in colour, but mine have always been brown/reddish in colour, but no specks and not more sticky than snot. Sorry if TMI, these things are so glamorous aren't they?)

Thanks for your advice TLF

I spoke to midwife and am heading into hospital in an hour for a swab to check for infection.
