Hi,
I'm a bit embarrassed to be asking this but can't find anything about it on the internet or pregnancy book.
Over the last few weeks I have been feeling quite swollen down below and a couple of days ago I finally decided to have a look in the mirror.
I was a bit horrified to see what is basically a lump where my hole should be.
I went to my GP who referred me to the labour ward to have a look in case I need an elective C as he wasn't sure if it would block normal delivery.
The doctor at the hospital said it is a prolapse of the vaginal wall and that it should be fine for normal delivery as it doesn't hurt, not bleeding etc.
However I am now feeling really worried about how I am going to cope psycologically with the pushing stage for fear of making myself worse.
I found it hard enough last time and ended up with assisted ventouse delivery.
Anyone else have any experiences of this in terms of labour and the state of your body afterwards?
Thanks
