I had a c-section 5 weeks on monday, scar and evrything healing nicely. No internal pain for a couple of weeks now but...........

woke up this morning and my stomach just above my scar is very sore ( feels like sunburn to touch) really tender and feels sore inside.

if i keep the toilet it in for a bit, when I do go its like a bad crampy feeling in my stomach for about 10 minz afterwards

does this sound like an infection? its not red or inflamed/weeping etc

any advice apprecitated .x

Ive had 3 csections and im ny opinion this is normal....you have to remember its a big op all those skin layers and muscles have been cut through and it takes time for your body to repair, you need to take it easy.

The feeling you describe I used to get when id been pulling the pram up a step.

Also bruising can take ages to come out and heal so i always thing weve really had a battering on our tummies.

If your worried though see your Gp,

Maybe its your periods about to kick in? be advised your first one or two after the op can be very heavy and quite painful, then again sometimes not...it just took me by surprise with my second (but I too overdid things).

I was still achey after 5 weeks after both mine. Not all the time, but like you describe, a bit crampy and sort of period-achy sometimes. It's very easy to overdo it without thinking you have - a 3 hour car journey to my mum's left me like that (as a passenger), just from sitting in the same ppsition all that time.

If it's a brand new kind of pain though or it doesn't go away, give your gp a ring. Or maybe even your midwife - mine was happy to answer calls after she'd discharged me both times.

i had/have this sensation, it was never painful, just uncomfortable, and not often, my consultant said it was normal and that it was the damaged nerves that were cut in the OP starting to grow/get sensation again.
usually its aggrivated by doing to much.
when i get this feeling now, i just sit down, or take it easy for the rest of the day.
