Hanging out smiling at you?

Can vary I think - both times mine has had some blood in it though. The first time it was more of a jelly like blob streaked with blood. The second time it was more like heavy discharge streaked with blood that came more gradually.

The first time I had show on the wednesday and the baby on the sunday. The second time on the same day. However I have also heard of a few people especially on their third loosing it a few weeks before even - or at least parts of it.

I'm not sure it should be green though? Perhaps give midwife a ring about that one - would be worried about infection?

I have had what you describe except it wasn't green on three occasions and it felt likeit just ran out - was a bit weird. I am 39 + 2 and still pregnant so not sure though midwife said it did sound like a show.

I thought I read somewhere that green might indicate an infection - so I would mention it to your mw to put your mind at rest

Looks like thick snot with stringy blood in it. Your discharge sounds more like late pregnancy discharge but if it is itchy or irritating it may be thrush. Plug is irrelevant in terms of predicting labour starting btw. Painful contractions getting closer together are usually a good indication
