Should I make a fuss?

OK, was quite happy at Queen Charlotte's hospital (with the exception of some traffic issues getting there). Brought up homebirth and they said due to my postcode I would need to transfer to Chelsea & Westminster.

No worries, did so (and had to redo all the tests previously done at QC because apparently just sending the file was a bit too much to expect ). Tell midwife am planning HB and she is very enthusiastic and supportive. Great.

Today after midwife appointment I stopped in at the reception desk to get the number for the homebirth team so that I could be prepared (am 33 weeks). After much phaffing about and double checking get told that due to my postcode I should actually be at QC if want a HB!

Now I like the idea of a HB, had super easy and pain free labour with DS (hypnobirthing) but I am not adamant about having one if that makes any sense? We have done the tour of the ward, it looks fine, not too concerned about post-natal care as not intending to be there much afterwards in any case. I don't object to going to hospital exactly was just thinking it would be nice to stay in bed. I intend to mostly labour at home and head in only when I think I am a bit off pushing (only takes 5 mins to get there).

I don't know whether to kick up a fuss just on the principle of the thing or just let it slide.

WWYD?

i would leave it. it really doesn't matter tbh!!!

if you ahve a homebirth and end up needing to transfer they will take you to the nearest hospital, so it is irrelevant surely?
