Whipps Cross or Princess Alexandra (Harlow)

I think I had better post this here...

I went to the GP for the first time this week(I'm 5 weeks pg) and had to choose my hospital!

I live in Buckhurst Hill, on the London/Essex border, so have a choice between Whipps Cross (Leytonstone) or Princess Alexandra (Harlow).

I went for Harlow becasue it was sprung on me and becasue Harlow offer free Nuchal fold scan and combined bloods, which Whipps don't (so I'd have to pay privately).

But does anyone have any views? I saw another thread about Whipps and seems positive, but I wondered of anyone has seen/visited/experienced/heard about both?

Harlow is, I think, much newer etc, so perhaps has better facilities, but it is much further away and much more diffcult to get to for me... a 45 mins drive as opposed to 15 mins at Whipps.

I have been told I can change at any time... would it be terrible and/or not allowed to get the nuchal scan/downs tests at 12/14 weeks at Princess Alexandra and then change to Whipps?

Ahh - I'm lost and I hate not knowing what to do!
