im having really tight pains at the top of my uterus which only last about a minute and come every five, only they dont seem to be connected to my cervix, well not yet any way, is it a really pain full b hicks or could it be for real, my last labour was so full on ive only experienced intense contractions around the cervix area and im a little confused.

I had what looked like a show several times before i was induced keep us posted erinsmum good luck x

mears · 06/07/2005 18:54

Show can come away in bits over a number of days, sometimes even weeks apart. You never know, something could be happening. Try and relax and ignore it all if you can

Blu · 06/07/2005 18:56

Do we all have to ignore it too? Would it help if we all went for a walk? Anything to help, eerinsmum!

erinsmom · 07/07/2005 12:40

thanks for the advice ,i think some of you are rather excited at the prospect of giving birth,i still remember the pain.i think we can safely say its false labour because ive not progressed,i keep trying to forget about it but when pains come that i can time it all gets a bit confusing.heres hanging in there,im sure when the time comes ill be posting like mad
