Poll - If you had a crap first birth experience did it get any better with subsequent births?

Following on from the previous thread re instrumental deliveries for first time mums. If you had a crappy first time experience did it get better subsequently?

Just wondering as I am pregnant - so hopefully you will all say it's a doddle!

First labour was induced, bled alot as I went into labour, ended up with ventouse after an hour of pushing.Then had PPH.
Second labour, great improvement!! Was 9 days over, went to be induced and was already 3- 4 cm, they broke my waters and she was born 3.5 hours later and after only 6 mins of pushing.
Now expecting 3rd in November, hoping things go like the 2nd.

yep much better here... dd1 cr*p, induction etcetc emergency c... ds.. emergency homebirth with pal helping delivery (dh as white as a ghost, and dd (aged 2.6) wondering why mummy was doing her exercises on the hall landing!!!)

Ds - induced, 27 hours in labour, ventouse extraction. Horrific!

Ds, went into labour after a sweep, stage 1 lasted less than an hour and stage 2 8 minutes!! a doddle!

sorry, I had the sweep with dd not ds!

yep the first I was terrified and the second time it hurt but \i was more relaxed and gave birth the way I wanted to

Pretty much the same both times, long 30 hour+ labour/delivery except that first time emergency c-section and 2nd time no intervention.

dd1 - 30 hours, puked up everywhere, fell asleep in the bath in the hospital ON MY OWN, high bp, epidural, ventouse, bluddy horrible. dd2 - home birth, no pain relief, about 4 hours, came out before mw arrived. great . bit of a shcok but still great
