DS 38+3
DD 40+4

HeadFairy · 22/09/2009 09:30

Ledodgy - you have perfect timing, if you ever go for number 4 you can probably predict with some accuracy the date he/she will be born on

MarthaFarquhar · 22/09/2009 09:31

only have one here. Weirdy tummy cramps at 39+6 - blamed curry.

Waters broke 40+0 - DD born 12 hours later.

Supercherry · 22/09/2009 10:58

I went into labour on my due date with DS1. I had spent the 2 weeks beforehand scoffing pineapple, drinking rasberry leaf tea and having sex etc.

LilianGish · 22/09/2009 11:15

Dd was 38 weeks - taking me completely by surprise, ds was 40+4- which seemed like very late at the time, but seeing it written down is not such a huge difference. Interestingly they both had exactly the same due date which I suppose emphasised the difference more (that and the fact that every extra day at the end of your pregnancy feels like a week!).

MadrasHouse · 22/09/2009 11:21

dc1 - 40 wks
dc2 - 42 wks (on eve of scheduled induction )

charleymouse · 22/09/2009 11:29

DD 40 + 10
labour started late at night 10:30 pm ish the day before induction booked (although was planning to refuse it) Waters went part way through labour as they were apparantly bulging.

DTs 31 + 4
waters went (and just carried on coming) just after I had got back into bed after a wee around 6:30 am.

Not sure when this current one will make an appearance. Hoping to get to term though.

jeee · 22/09/2009 11:30

DD 1,2, and 3 = 13 days late
DS = on time

norktasticninja · 22/09/2009 11:37

DD was 39+1, I was counting down to 42 weeks so it was quite a surprise.

DS was 39+4, I'd expected him to come a wee bit earlier than DD did so it felt like a loooong wait!

Both were entirely spontaneous and started at 3am. DD was a slower start, I didn't realise it was labour until 9 am and she was born just before 9 pm. DS's labour was much shorter, I realised it was labour at 3:30 am and he was born at 5:30 am.

GreenPeas · 22/09/2009 11:38

DC1 - 38 + 4 - waters broke
DC2 - 39 + 4

TheProvincialLady · 22/09/2009 11:40

DS1 was 42+6, labour took days
DS2 was 39+3 labour 5 hours start to finish and was at home

twirlymum · 22/09/2009 11:47

DD 42 weeks, long labour, EMCS

DS 39+6, short labour, another EMCS!

Deeeja · 22/09/2009 12:00

DS1, 3 weeks early, labour started but needed augmenting, labour went on for 48 hours, horrible.
DS2, 10 days late, started naturally, ended in cs
DS3, 3 weeks late, induced, ended in cs.
DS4, completely natural, not even a sweep, 6 days late, fast labour, VBA2c.
AM expecting dd, due date is tomorrow. Will see what happens. Hoping she will be born by next week.

fruitshootsandheaves · 22/09/2009 12:06

dd1 - 15 days late I was induced but labour had already started
DS1 - 13 days late
DD2 - 14 days late
DS2 - exactly on their due date, 2 weeks early by mine but with complications

MsBrandybuck · 22/09/2009 12:11

DS waters went 10 days early, followed by mild cramps couple of hours later. DS born same morning after only 90 mins of 'official' labour. DC2 due tomorrow and I've been getting the mild cramps for over a week so feel very overdue now.

LedodgyDailyMailstinksofpoo · 22/09/2009 13:27

Headfairy 'if you ever go for number 4 you can probably predict with some accuracy the date he/she will be born on'

HeadFairy · 22/09/2009 13:29

I did think as I wrote that, Crikey, I wouldn't even be thinking of number 3 right now! Still, aren't you even slightly tempted to test if you can make it four in a row?
Nah scratch that

Carrotfly · 22/09/2009 13:30

Late, spot on due date, then month early !

The whole range really ...

YanknCock · 22/09/2009 13:33

DS1 - Proper active labour at 39+6 but ended with EMCS on same day. Contractions had started at 39+4.

bumpybecky · 22/09/2009 13:34

dd1 40+11
dd2 40+8
dd3 40+3 (so felt like a week early!)
ds 40+9

PinkTulips · 22/09/2009 13:35

4 days early
2 weeks early
5 days late..... boy was i pissed off!

LadyOfTheFlowers · 22/09/2009 13:39

DS1 - week early
DS2 - 4 days late
DS3 - 4 days late
Am expecting DC4 to be 4 days late too.

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 22/09/2009 13:43

DS1 - On time
DS2 - 10 days late
DD - 13 days late

They just seem to be getting less and less willing to emerge. Maybe my womb is getting comfier

LedodgyDailyMailstinksofpoo · 22/09/2009 13:43

Lol Headfairy we were stopping at two.

HeadFairy · 22/09/2009 13:52

Oh don't say that! I've just about convinced myself 2 is right.... I've always felt that I'd end up with a late accident... I'll probably have twins when I'm 46 or something
