Pre labor period cramps....?????

So, every9one must be sick of my 'what if, and when'? questions by now... But here goes....

have been havign 'period type cramps' for past 2 days, but no real contractions, was due yesterday and lost plug last week...

PLease help! Anyone else get these pre labor period cramps? and how long before real labor kicked in???

I had them about 2days before I actually gave birth, but only a day before labour kicked in.

didnt labor last time, had a section(due to failure of babies head to engage)... am booked in for wednesday for another one, but really want to go into labor myself and do it naturally...

Dabihp, my ds2 didnt engage and I was induced due to other complications. Before my waters were broken I was prepd for a section and taken to theatre wher a doctor did the job. All I can remember is that she was making juicing motions with her arm!

oh dear god! Juicing motions???? I dotn like that, you poor thing!.....

i was under general last time, but recovery was hell, i really dont want that again...
