For all of us who are still waiitng, can u describe the beginnings of your labour...

how you felt that day?
Where pain started?
If waters broke?
etc...

general signs we can look out for... that maybe arent as obvious as painful contractions!

all of my labours (I'm currently pg with number four so have had three!) i looked back and saw 'signs' days before...restlessness, really uncomfy sitting for long, a need to do something/go somewhere. and hours before like everyone i think has said the serious need to go to the loo!! oh and tears the night/day before, real emotional moments for no reason at all!
I'm always nervous setting off for hospital, but once the 'real' contractions begin its abit like nature takes over, you dont have to think about what to do or worry over what you will do, because you will be really 'far away' or 'into' yourself and be in like auto pilot -if that makes sense.
the best thing i learnt by the time of my second labour is that moment when you REALLY give up in labour and fully intend to go home, telling everyone you cant do this AT ALL is usually just a short amount of time from your baby arriving (-I'm sure youve read about transition, well this is how it makes you feel) second, third (and hopefully fourth!) labours i could remember that feeling and it kinda egged me on that last bit.
I hope your labours is just what you want (and everyone has their own ideas) and over quickly!
