im only 21/22 weeks pregnant...and there is noone i trust to watch my dd who will be just over a year told, so dh will stay at home and i will have to give birth alone..i feel so sad, can't stop crying...i can't get my mum to watch dd as mil will kick up a fuss..the only way i got through labour last time was with dh

Be brave, put both feet down hard! Perhaps you should sort it out now, that way you won't be stressed nearer the due date. You'll have enough to worry about then. Speak to your mum, then just TELL you MIL what the plan will be. Make sure your dh agrees with you. Perhaps you could invent a job for your MIL to keep her busy nearer the time too. That way she won't feel left out.

She sounds like a difficult woman. What's your FIL like? Could you speak to him about it?
