If Teoh, Miskry & Beeston were away, who would you take at St Mary's?

Basically they were the consulltants who came highly reecommended and I'm so upset that they aren't around for a week after I'm due.

My mum's friend is a nurse there and she is scaring me off some of the others saying they are old school, or more panicky types. I so need a relaxed consultant whose not going to say c-section at the drop of the hat.

thank you!!

I was under Lesley Regan. She was very cool, experienced and sensible. I'd recommend her.

As long as you are talking about St Mary's (Paddington)!

yes! I did read on another thread that her bedside manner wasnt great i.e. not for those who need their hands held. Did you find that was the case?

Now, there's a question!

She's not 'gushy' or anything, but I found her sufficiently empathetic, for me at least.

She does come across as hugely experienced and expert in her field. If anything was going to go wrong, I trusted that she would know how to handle it, and I valued that over anything else. That was my criteria.

She did, in the last appointment, before my due date tell me that, "I had done very well". Which was weird, but kind of sweet, too...
...truthfully, are any of them hand holding types?
