I've had one. But I'd like a big family.
How many CS before it gets too risky?

I know several women who have had four and one who has had five (in the USA, though).

After I had my second, my surgeon said 'you can have a third one, certainly, but try to leave it a year or so before you get pregnant'.

I didn't ask about a fourth

I asked my obstetrician, who is very well respected. he said nowadays it is not a problem to have more than 3 c-sections. He said he once performed one on a woman who was on her 9th c-section. One day I may want a 4th so that reassured me.
