Are they always at the bottom of bump in the beginning because I keep getting a weird tightening over the top right hand side of bumpity bump?

As a first time mum you've probably got a while yet but you might have to meet your DH at the hospital

I have been lurking and watching your thread. I think you posted a couple of weeks ago about your dh going away?

It's very exciting when someone else has a baby. Brings it all back..

I do think, though, that rockinmum is showing a lack of commitment to mumsnet by not posting whilst actually giving birth

Right then........went into hospital yesterday morning at about half nine. Had contractions for about 8 hours....then ended up delivering at 1142, 7lbs 7oz, on the luckiest day for 100 years (according to the chinese).

Only had gas and air and meptid, and only needed 6 stiches all internal.

So happy and a piccie going on profile now xx
