Do I need to have another cs with this baby as I have already had 2 in the past?

No!

no. you can have a VBA2C if you want to...you can certainly ask for a trial of labour, www.aims.org.uk is a good place to start for info and there are some excellent VBAC sites. you can even go for a homebirth if you want to.

does depend a wee bit on why you had c.s before and if there are any medical reasons likely to recur..

do you know why you had c.sections previously?

First baby was breech and second baby was a failure to progress and scar tenderness (I'm guessing that isn't good)!

hmmmmmm.........how long and under what cicumstances were you labouring?

McDreamy · 01/07/2008 15:29

48 hours, hat do you mean what circumstances? (Sorry to be ignorant!!) I was in hospital pretty much left to my own devices. Not too closely monitored, if that's what you mean?

take a look at www.aims.org.uk and www.homebirth.org.uk.

You don;t have to have a c/s.

Bundle · 01/07/2008 15:35

but you may need another c/s

I'd plan for both

lulumama · 01/07/2008 16:04

i meant often with VBAC you will be told you have to dilate from 3 - 10 within a certain time, can only push for a certain time, might have to have a canula, CFM etc...

i would certainly plan for both births, as bundle says, scar tenderness needs looking at further...
