Hi everyone,

Yesterday I started a thread on this subject in 'health': www.mumsnet.com/Talk/138/529999?ts=1210758722462&msgid=10788918.

I suffered a fistula and have just had it repaired and wondered if people know of or would benefit from a supportive environment where people have gone through the same thing. I know I'm already finding the thread helpful.

This is not meant to be a scary post - I actually had a lovely birth and would do the same thing again tomorrow. However, I do think that occasionally things don't quite go to plan and that part of the 'trauma' is from people not expecting this sort of outcome.

So have a read of the link and if this reasonates with you or anyone you know, come and join in!

C
