Can Braxton Hicks last over 4 hours? Only 33+2

Hiya
Just looking for quick advice and/or reassurance so I know if I should expect to grab my labour bag (not packed!!) or keep calm.

I usually have Braxton hicks- lasts 20/30mins maybe an hour. Have had them today since 7am and now it's 11:30. No regularity, no pattern, some mild contractions but some intense(has to get off my chair and walk through the pain) The fact that it's gone on for so long is worrying me that I'm going into labour?
Midwife says could be preterm labour and I'm going in in a few hours to be get checked but freaking out right now as I'm only 33+2.

Has anyone experienced this and it's still only Braxton hicks?

Personally yes, I used to have them for hours every evening for around 6-8 weeks before baby was born.
Definitely still go and get checked though.

Never had them at all with DS1. With DS2, they were hourly for the last four months 😩

Okay thank you that makes me feel much better than it could be normal. I wouldn't be so worried if I had reached term. My waters haven't broken or anything like that.
I am definitely getting checked this afternoon at the maternity triage just to be sure

I had them with my first and second baby but never got them for so long!
Also my first was preterm (35weeks) so I'm worried about another preemie

I get them for a few hours at a time now in this pregnancy - 31 weeks and third pregnancy. Barely had any in either of my other pregnancies.

I had them (lots of them) with all my pregnancies.

They're very powerful and can stop you in your tracks - but they shouldn't be painful, as such.

Maybe get checked over if they stay painful, get more regular (or if your bowels get active)!

On the plus side, I've always believed that lots of BHs means a quick labour (that was the case for me).
