C-section risks after age 35?

Hi any experienced multiple section mums over the age of 35?
If so how was your surgery and recovery?
I suffer with anxiety and have read not only are multiple c sections risky anyway but the risks increase after the age of 35. And am now worried.

I had 3 ELCS aged 40, 43 and 46. All went brilliantly. Barely any painkillers after a day or so. Drove myself home from hospital after one of them. Don't fixate on your age, just be as fit as you can be and get up and walking as soon as you can. I passed my surgeon in the corridor on the way to SCBU 4 hours after a complicated placenta previa CS and she couldn't believe it! All the best to you.

i had quick recoveries. Second the advice of getting up and walking as soon as you can. I had one section at 32 and one at 38 and no difference in recovery time.

I had DC2 via ELCS at 35. I think physical fitness probably has more to do with it than age. Sadly I had crippling SPD for the majority of my pregnancy so lost a lot of core strength (and also gained weight more so than I did first time around). It took 6 weeks for me to feel on the way back to normal but every day got better and better and I’m now walking miles and cycling most days 11 months later.

Some of recovery is also just down to luck though. Don’t worry if you’re not at your physical peak. I’ve got friends who had c-sections and they’ve all been 35+ and there were no age related issues regarding recovery.

I had one aged 35 and another aged 37. Both totally fine, no problem whatsoever. Good luck!
