How long after passing mucus plug did you give birth?

I know this can vary massively from person to person but I’m lying awake at 5.30am and could do with some company!

Passed mine in a huge chunk about 2.30pm yesterday, and since then have had what I would describe as a mild period cramping sensation and pinchy lower back. I’m 39+2 today.

Would love to hear others’ experiences of losing their plug and how quickly (or not) things got moving after that!

Finally in labour ladies! 3cm dilated - been to the hospital and sent away with morphine to carry on labour at home for a while. Hopefully he will be here tomorrow.

Good luck girl!

First one was several weeks. But I was 2 cm for several weeks. Labour once it actually started was quick.

Hope it all went well, OP. Or that it does go well if it isn't all done now! Flowers
