Has anyone else has 2 c-sections before but the second section hasn't been threw the previous scar?
So Iv had 2..
1st emergency..2nd was elected they let me get to 40 weeks and as he wasn't showing any signs off coming yet they told me it would be better for me to have an elected section I was honeslty heart broken and gutted!
Just want to know if anyone has had 2 and 2 different cuts if you have ever gone on to have a 3rd!?

I've had 3.

DC1 emcs & scar didn't heal well.

DC2 elcs & as previous scar wasn't good (not smooth and never healed properly at one end), they cut it out and gave me a much nicer one. That healed beautifully.

DC3 elcs & lovely scar. I don't know if they went through the same one or not but I've only got one scar now & again it's healed well to just a silvery line.

I've had 3. Dc1 and 2 born through the same cut but then for dc3 they lengthened the cut. So it's all roughly still looking like one line of scar but if you look closely you can see the extreme ends of both sides are not part of the same line. Doesn't bother me.

Do you mean uterus or skin?

Dc1 my uterus tore because I'd been in labour so long and he didn't come out with forceps so had to shove him back up. They also cut my skin hip to hip.

Dc2 came out of a much smaller cut in my skin (less than 50 percent of my original scar) and she cut out the wiggly messy bit. Nothing tore that time either but I don't know if they used any part of the existing scar.

We decided against a 3rd but despite the above no one during either section or postnatally thought my scars would be an issue during another pregnancy.

Which two have you had? Low/high vertical or low transverse?
