Been having little twinges since 4am and they're getting stronger, harder to ignore.
About ruddy time, too... but I'm still quietly terrified.... IF this is it, ho hum. Off to put kids to bed, but for when I get back, any words of encouragement will be much appreciated!

Good Luck

Klaw · 14/02/2008 23:36

lljkk glass of cider, soak under shower, massage from dh and Bed to sleep, if it's not proper labourt yet you will get sleep or else you will waken for labour. Get as much rest as you can overnight, you'll need it

make sure you pee regular and keep warm!

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 14/02/2008 23:41

michtenstein · 15/02/2008 17:05

oooh how exciting hope its all happened and you are snuggled in bed together with your new little baby.xx

lljkk · 15/02/2008 17:28

Hi everyone!! Thanks so much for the response/concern/encouragement. I DID have the baby, in the wee hours of this morning. Little boy, almost 9 lbs, pretty straightforward as birth can go (did have him at home).
But it still hurt like insanity (or at least, I think a person has to be certified nuts to put themselves thru it). I stand in awe of my ancestor women who went thru childbirth 8-16x in the course of their lives.
Actually, I think I stand in awe of all of us who ever manage to get thru any sort of childbirth. We're all quite amazing, don't you think??
We are now totally exhausted and trying desperately to get some sleep and adjust to new baby plus 3 boisterous others.
Thanks again for all the words of support. xxxXO.
