Second baby- will pelvic floor issues get worse?

I am currently 33 weeks pregnant with DC2. DD1 was born at 38 weeks weighing 5lb 12. Due to her being small, I was offered a growth scan in this pregnancy which I had a couple of days ago. Based on current measurements, this baby is predicted to be 8lb 8. I was genuinely shocked! I (probably naively) just assumed all my babies would be on the smaller side. I know that this is not huge by any means, but compared to my last baby it seems really big to me.

I am now really freaked out about the birth. I had a PPH last time which luckily was not too heavy but I know I have an increased risk of this happening again, especially if the baby is bigger.

I have also been left with stress inconvenience which has not gotten better since my last birth 2.5 years ago. It really gets me down sometimes and has affected me exercising. I used to love running but I have found it near impossible since then. I am so worried about the damage to my pelvic floor this time. My physio also told me I had the beggings of a bladder prolapse so I’m pretty sure I also have a risk of a proper prolapse this time. My next physio appointment is not for a couple of weeks.

has anyone had experience of these issues and found they got worse after having second baby? Especially if second baby was bigger?

If you are this concerned @Kate120 do you think having a C-Section planned would ease your stress?

Please try not to worry about growth scan results. I had several and the last one 4 weeks before baby was born said he was 6lb14 oz already. He was predicted to be 9lb 6 at term. He was born at 38 weeks and 6lb 13oz. I had pph and 3rd degree with first baby so very nearly changed to an elective c section cause of him being classed as large and all the risks involved.
