Hey guys! Anyone else due beginning of November and had any signs/symptoms of labour? I'm a first time mum and really don't know what I'm looking for, but I've convinced myself that baby will come early... I've started drinking raspberry leaf tea and bouncing on my ball, how did you know you was going to go into labour? Or have you had signs your going?

Congratulations on your PG. have a look over on the Pregnancy Section, you might find some others due in November.

I was convinced that my first would arrive early and had him at 38+1 so you might be right.

And keep in with the RLT, it really helped me Wink

Hey OP, there's a thread for November babies in pregnancy.

I thought my first would be early (more so because doctors also thought so). He came on his due date pretty much 39+6. The wait post 37 weeks was torture. I think it's a hit and miss going by feeling.

If you're due beginning of November perennial massage might be a good shout and eating dates daily. If you're due end of November I don't think they recommend massage till 34 weeks (but I might be wrong).

I had no idea I was going into labour, just felt a sudden urge to clean the night before. A really really strong urge. My water broke randomly 8am the next morning with no warning. I should have known though as I usually go on a crazy cleaning spree just before my menses starts.

I don't suppose you can add me into the November baby thread? I'm new to this😂 I tried to look for it but they seem to be old threads

Hi all,

Is there anyone based in north London on this thread who would be open to participating in mother-infant observations as part of my training as a child psychotherapist?

This consists of weekly observations within the home of the baby's first year of life, how they grow and develop and helps me as a trainee counsellor understand what it like being a child growing up, discovering the world, forming relationships and regulating emotions. It's a super key part of training child psychotherapists and is a great thing to helping research and understanding children.

I've spent years working in schools with children with special educational needs and as nanny so I'm used to being around children so I understand some of the struggles and the joys that come with children. My role is purely observational, non-judgemental and confidential focusing solely on the baby's development.

Please see my flyer for more information and feel free to message me with any questions.

Thanks,

Niamh

Hi guys!

I am a university student looking for people to take part in my research into the effects of stress on parenting and infant sleep. It would really help us out if you could take 5 minutes to fill in our survey. Please email [email protected] if you are interested and I will send you the link.

Many thanks, Rowan :)
