C section still hurts 7 months on?

Can anyone please give me some advice or personal experiences please x
My daughters birth was traumatic, days of failed inductions, a cervix so swollen and bruised they couldn't get another induction in so a c section was opted for. During the section the anaesthetic wore off towards the end and I was given the choice of being put to sleep or being pumped full of god knows what. I wanted to be awake so I chose the drugs which dulled the pain but didn't numb it.
7 months on it still hurts :( it feels tender and bruised, is this normal?
Will just add aswell I returned to work when she was 12 weeks old, I'm a nursery nurse so I do some heavyish lifting when I lift the babies and toddlers for happy changes etc but never anything too much.

I'm 6 months on from mine, and while I get the occasional pang still, it's not tender to touch. Have you seen your GP about it?

Mine was 5 months ago and still feels a bit itchy and tender sometimes . I was just wondering if this normal too, it looks well healed in the mirror but I really struggle with it and for some reason am upset by my scar. (I had a category 1 emergency csection under general and maybe just it’s that I never prepared for it even though eternally grateful they kept baby safe)

I had my son 22 months ago and healed incredibly quickly after but even now it can still be tender and the skin of the scar and surrounding area is numb

I don't think it should feel bruised still. I'd get checked out by your GP or even your health visitor if you struggle to get a GP app.

Had two caesareans and the first took a while to heal but wasn't sore at 7 months.

Definitely see if you can get it checked in case of any low-level infection and if all ok I'd recommend finding a massage therapist trained to work with scars.

I've been seeing someone since about 3months PP (7 months now) and she has worked wonders with aiding the blood flow to promote healing - scar feels much stronger, the tissues around it are softening, and the feeling is coming back where it used to be numb.

You are not alone nearly a year in and still lots of pain. Speak with the gp
