Why is my scar hurting 8 weeks on?

DS was born 8 weeks ago by c section, really smooth recovery, 0 complications, had no pain at all after that initial week following the surgery.
On Saturday night, a burning feeling on the right side of my scar woke me up, and I had to keep turning on to my back to ease it. The feeling has persisted since then. It's not super painful, it's just uncomfortable. Best way I can describe it is like the skin on the right end of the scar has been twisted and it feels almost burnt. It also feels like it's tugging a little with certain movements.
The scar itself looks fine, no redness, swelling, no openings, not hot to touch etc. No actual womb pain or anything.

Like I say, first time I've ever experienced discomfort with it since it's healed! Wtf have I done to it? Anyone else experienced this out of the blue? Have I just slept funny and pulled the skin? It's really bugging me Envy(not envy!)

I was going to do the checklist but see you have done that, redness, swelling, heat, discharge. My CS scar was sore for a year. I had a skin cancer removed from my spine 4 years ago,it felt like it was pinching the other day,I freeked out, thinking it had come back. 8 weeks isn't long when you think of the damage inflicted on tissue. Perhaps mention it to the midwife/health visitor, but I found after surgery (have had 3 more major ado surgeries, you get various sorenes, pains my last in 2007,huge hernia feels like it gets caught sometimes, probably adhesions

Could be a little wound infection starting so I’d contact your GP just to get it double checked.

@nannybeach thanks for the reply! I do suppose 8 weeks is still early days, it just caught me off guard. I did wonder if it could possibly be a mild adhesion, especially with the tugging sensation. Should I be concerned if it is?

@ComDummings thanks, I'll definitely contact GP if it continues tomorrow. I'll take it easy today and see if it makes a difference. I naively thought I would be out of the woods of infection once the scar was fully healed over, but after a quick google it's definitely a possibility.

I was assuming you would be in touch with a midwife or health visitor, still, you can get an audience with the Pope easier than a GP appointment were I live. Certainly no harm in giving them a ring, get some reasurance over the phone at least

Make sure you get checked out for infection, but I still get pain randomly in my c section scar and my youngest is nearly 13.

I've had four sections, my last 4 years ago and I sometimes get a bit of pain across it when I ovulate.

Sounds infected, mine felt similar. Is the midwife still coming to check it?
