Pelvic floor after 2nd baby?

I’ve had my baby 8 months ago and my pelvic floor is still faaar from what it’s been before childbirth (ventouse assisted). I do pelvic floor exercises every day but there is only a little bit of improvement and if I have a few days break I feel like i went back to square 1.
How is your pelvic floor 2nd time mums? This is probably my biggest fear when it comes to having another baby, I really don’t want my pelvic muscles to be f* forever 😥 I’d even consider c-section

Hi. I’m a first time mum but wanting to try for another very soon. I am really considering asking my gp to refer me for pelvic floor physio as 15 months on I just get this heavy pressure in my vagina sometimes. Can I ask what symptoms you have? I don’t have any leaks etc so I’m wondering whether they will take me seriously or not. I had ventouse too.

@Whatinthename20 I don’t have any prolapse symptoms such as incontinence or heaviness but I just don’t feel like there is much “lifting” when I do PF exercises. Also when having sex I can’t do a “squeeze” anymore like I used to 😬😔

I would recommend reading up on ab separation (diastasis recti) and checking that everything went back to where it should be after the birth.
It took me 12 years to realise mine hadn't, and was the cause of a lot of pelvic floor/bladder/lower back/extended tummy issues.
No amount of pelvic floor exercises, including equipment designed to help, made much difference, but 12 weeks of specific exercises designed to help with ab separation have sorted me out!
