Routine 39 week induction for 35+ year olds, BAME, BMI 30+?

Has anybody had a conversation about being induced at 39 weeks because of one of these factors, following the draft NICE guidelines? I think I've heard today on the grapevine of someone it's happening to and the thought fills me with dread having suffered an induction when my body was showing no signs of labour (40 weeks) last time. I get it if it's needed, which for me it might be this time again for other reasons, and I know how I would manage and respond to it but at 39 weeks just because I'm 37, assuming my baby is growing better and has turned round by then? I'm just wondering if many places are adopting the guidelines or if they're holding off and going case by case as previously. I should be really clear I'm not one of these anti-induction people and would go for it at 41 weeks without question.

I know I could ask my midwife too btw but currently battling the fact that despite being on continuity of carer pathway I haven't seen the same person twice at all and even get asked if I'm consultant led or not to which I have to say 'i don't know' because I do have a consultant appointment next week but my notes on that godawful app say I'm midwife led so who knows.

IME the consultants are pretty sensible. I was 40+ so I had to be consultant led, but she was in no hurry to induce, and left it til I was over 40 weeks, as everything else was completely normal.

It was my second induction and went a lot better than my first at over 41 weeks.

I would consider an induction at 39 weeks if all those factors applied to me as they all make it higher risk.

I've only got one risk factor from those three (leaving aside the possibly small and badly positioned baby although I guess the position would be a c section anyway) which is my age, I totally agree if I was all three I'd be queuing up to get in there at 39 weeks!

I know it will be out of my hands but the possibility of having another induction with a completely shut and disinterested cervix looms large even if it is potentially for the best. Will see what consultant says next week, hopefully the guidance being in draft at this stage might be a factor (hoping there's not loads of ladies that po up and say yes I'm being done at 39 weeks for XY or Z now 😂).

I’m due 6 weeks before turning 40 and early induction hasn’t been mentioned at all (neither was it with my other two born when I was 35 and 38).

Two of those factors applied to me I had my 4th at 40 and 5th at 41 (in June). In both cases my trust wasn't concerned at all about my age. I also had a BMI of 32 at booking in, that wasn't a cause for induction either.

With DC4 I was offered induction at 40wks as he was supposedly massive, predicted to be over 5kg if left but my age they would have let me go to 42wks as I was only just 40.

Dc5 I was a few weeks from 42. They said they would book me for induction between 40-41wks and booked bang on 41wks. All my babies go way over so I had no hope of her coming earlier, and whilst I could have waited 2 of my others hadn't arrived by 42 so God only knows how long they would have taken. All big too.

My inductions though with 3, 4 and 5 have all been positive and reasonably quick (2hrs, 4hrs, 2hrs) and I've been home same day. I have asked them to check how favourable my cervix was prior to induction with 4 and 5 with a view to delaying or considering ELCS rather than a failed induction but thankfully both times its been open and soft etc.
