Third birth

Has anyone had a positive third labour?
My first labor lasted for days, but I managed to have a waterbirth like I wanted, and minimal tearing.
Active labour to birth happened within 2 hours for my second, she was born with her hand on her head and I had second degree tearing. Overall I felt out of control and felt it was traumatic emotionally, especially with the tearing that the Dr starting stitching before the numbing took effect.

If I had another it wouldn't be for a few years, but I want to know if anyone's third labour was positive after bad experiences?

My third was the easiest of them all. I was in active labour for less than 30 minutes and she was out in 2 contractions. My first was a forceps delivery and second a c section (breech baby).

My 3rd was by far the best. Contractions started on my due date, I went to hospital at 40+2 and was 5cm. Got to 8cm a little over 5 hours later and then broke my waters. She was born 11 minutes later with just a few unassisted pushes, had a 37.7cm head and was back to back so I did tear. Being mobile throughout made the pain more manageable. I was chained to bed with 1st 2 with both being monitored throughout, 1st full induction and 2nd meconium in waters.
Since then I've had elcs with breech twins and having another elcs with current baby in 4 days rather than being induced early (another big baby).

My third was my longest labour. I was contracting very mildly all day and then went in to hospital the following morning to get checked over as I getting frustrated they didn't seem to be getting more intense. I was 8cm when they checked so thought she would be born within the hour (I'd arrived in hospital with the other 2 at 7/8cm and babies were born in about an hour) but after 4 hours of not getting anywhere the midwife popped my waters and it was fairly quick after that. The midwife told me after birth that third labours can be slower. A positive though is that I only had 1st degree tear whereas I had 2nd with the other 2.

@kingfisher5 that's positive that you had a first degree tear following a second!
OP, I'm also interested in your question as I had a third degree tear with my second and now pregnant with my third.

My 3rd was similar in length to 2nd (10 hours from contractions starting to DS being born) but easier and less painful as I opted for an epidural this time around. The first two I just had gas and air as I didn't want any other pain relief. Oh how different I felt this time!
