Hello ladies,

Just wondered if any of you with APS where induced or left to go into natural labour?
Currently 37 weeks and still waiting for a consultant appointment just wondering what to expect.

Hello lovely,

I know you posted this a very long time ago but I'm wondering if you're still active. I hope your labour was OK once you got there?

I have recently discovered I have APS after recurrent IVF miscarriages, and am trying to find some information on people's experiences. Did you find APS difficult to manage during pregnancy?

Thank you xx

Hello Violet, I've just seen your post and thought I might be able to help. I have APS and have had two successful pregnancies since diagnosis. Both were managed with Clexane from positive test to 6 weeks postpartum and daily baby aspirin. I was advised to have an induction at 39 weeks with both which went well. Only thing we found was both of our babies were on the small side but I'm not sure if that was the result of APS or not.

Thank you SO MUCH for your response, it's been really reassuring. We're terrified it won't happen for us as we can't get pregnant naturally and now this (we're also waiting for my chromosome results). We've got a call with the IVF Dr tomorrow to discuss meds (inhixa) so I'm having a panic.

I'm so pleased you've been able to have succesful pregnancies! It must have been a tough journey getting to that point x

No problem, I understand how scary it is. We did have quite a journey to diagnosis with several losses along the way but once on the medication had relatively easy pregnancies. I found a couple of obstetric APS support groups on Facebook which also helped. It's more common than we realise. I hope you get to meet your rainbow soon x

Thank you for taking the time to reassure me today, fingers crossed for a more positive year 🤞🏼 x
