C section Q's

C section booked a week today!

Sooo excited can't wait.

Thinking I'm going to have to add a few extra things to our hospital bag as we will deffos be staying in overnight if not longer.

How many pairs of PJ's did you take for yourself? And how many vests/baby grows did you go through?

Any advice is welcome TIA x

@AndSoFinally last June bang in the middle of worst of it I was out In 24 hours but happy to go I hope people that aren't comfortable to go home that soon say and get more support

I think they do aim for 24 hrs still now that's what my consultant said. I don't think I'd wanna stay in any longer tbh unless I needed too

Love the bag of spare clothes/nappies etc. I wish I'd done that instead of having to ask dh. He panicked, couldn't find half of it and I ended up crying because it was day 3 and him buying the wrong brand of breast pads and nappies when he couldn't find mine felt like the end of the world.

Really nice smelling shower gel was lovely for the first shower.

Something to distract you while waiting to go down to theatre, I had to wait all day.
