Reduced movements & bleeding

Hey mummies, I just wanted some advice or want to know if you've been through similar experiences. I'm really concerned about my baby and I don't know what else to do!

I had quite a big bleed at 33+1 along with reduced feral movements.
I had a scan at 35+1 to see if they could see where the bleeding was coming from and it all looked okay. Since then I had another 3 bleeds at 34 weeks, 35+4 and 36+6. Since the bleed at 35+4 I’ve had reduced movements, over the past week they’ve had me in for daily CTG monitoring to keep an eye on him and he seems to be happy with a happy heartbeat, I've been booked in for a scan to check the fluid around the baby.

I'm now 37 weeks, I'm still unhappy with the movements and it feels like there not listening to me! I know babies are best of kept inside until 39/40 weeks, but I'm really not happy, I'm worrying so much, I'm not sleeping properly either. Can I ask to be induced now I'm classed at term? I really don't know what else to do!

Thank you :)

💐🤗 Ask to speak to the head of midwifery and state that you want to be seen in person urgently to discuss your options x

Sorry you’re going through a scary time ♥️ I hope everything turns out well x

If you don't feel right, trust your instincts. Be the squeaky wheel and keep asking.

In my experience the threshold for induction at/after 37 weeks is pretty low, as the risk 'at term' is minimal. I would expect if you spoke to someone in charge and explained your concerns and asked about induction they'd discuss your options with you.

NEVER WAIT .. if you think your baby is moving less go get help
how is everything ? x

As above, most consultants are happy to induce once you are 37weeks/ full term.
Please ring your maternity unit and ask to speak to someone.
