VBAC with a high risk uterine incision

Hi,

Looking for advice or better yet personal experience here. I’m currently pregnant with my 2nd child (previous C section was over two years ago before I became pregnant again if this is relevant) my last C section was a result of pregnancy complications and very traumatic for me the baby was born at 28 weeks. At the time of the C section and after not much was explained to me about what was done incision wise.Up until appointments at the hospital with this pregnancy I assumed I had a normal uterine incision (low transverse). I’ve been informed that I’m not a candidate for a VBAC due to the uterine incision used but my big issue is that every one i have asked so far has told me I have a different incision than the last. For example I have been told I have an inverted T incision on my uterus, just a classical incision and then just a transverse incision that is higher than usual. Obviously one of these is correct I just don’t know which and have no way of knowing (I’m also aware that with C sections before a certain stage a low transverse incision isn’t always possible). I’m feeling extremely stressed by this as I feel like I could possibly be pushed into having another C section when the risk for uterine rupture/complications with a VBAC would only be marginally higher than that of a low transverse incision. Has anyone had anything similar happen to them or attempted a VBAC with one of the above higher risk incisions and how did it go? Sorry for the long winded post I just don’t know who else or where else to ask. The doctors don’t seem to have much time for my questions and concerns regarding this which is why I’d like to know of others personal experiences with this issue.

Not quite the same situation but there was no problem presented to me going for vbac when I had got pregnant sooner than recommended after previous c section.
Surely someone can tell you definitively what incision you had!

The incision will be documented in the operation note for your last section.

Hello wondering if you have had the baby and if so did u have a vbac? I'm currently 34 weeks and have had two c sections, the first c section being 4 years ago and was a classical t incision c section. I've been told I can only give birth through elective c section. Really wanted a vbac though but wondering how high the risk of uterine rapture actually is ...

@FindingMeno what was your gap ?
mine will be 15 months and my consultant has advised against a VBAC due to scar rupture risk but I feel disappointed but equally don't want to put baby or me at risk
