36 week scan - large head circumference

I had a planned cesarean with my first due to baba being transverse. My husband has got a very large head, actually, his whole family does and so does our first son.

I am being monitored due to low BMI + having had a section before. My consultant appointment is Friday.

I'm already scared about baby getting stuck (I cannot tell you why exactly but it's my anxiety).

Anyone with a good experience vaginal birth experience with a baby having a HC 36cm+?

DDs head was 36.5cm- no bother at all

@omg35 no instrumental intervention? Amazing! It's good to hear positive stories.

I got induced because of my sons head size I ended up with an emergency c section. Induction and c section was my worst fear but it genuinely wasn’t that bad tbh xx

Ds1 head circumference was 38.5cm born at 39weeks, he was chunky and long too. Came out no problem though, few stitches after being cut slightly (sorry cant remember the technical term). He's 2 now and wears hats size 4-8years.
Ds2 born 11 weeks ago at 38weeks with a head circumference of 36cm. He was a section though due to being transverse but pretty sure he'd have just popped out too!

I'm only small (5ft4) husband is 6ft5 though with a big head. It's doable, staying as calm and relaxed as possible is all I can advise! Easier said than done though I know.
Good luck!

@cheesebubble none. I did have a second degree tear but that's not that unusual really! Plus they told me her head was measuring even bigger on the growth scan so they're often inaccurate. Don't stress yourself out too much
