That's a good idea. I haven't seen my midwife much as we had referrals to kings for much of it. My only appointment now is the pre section thing. Maybe I should fill in the plan in the blue book and show them? For some reason, this time I'm dreading it. (And I had 3 sections already!) I know a lot changes in 8 yrs. Will try to be rational.

I would. From what I understand the birth plan bit(esp for c/s) is for things like that. Make sure you show them at the presection appointment so they know it's there. Then mention it to the mw when you get to the hopsital on the day. Make sure dh knows it's there. Tell them all why you're putting it in. Explain how you felt 8 years ago.

It's hard to be rational when heavily pg It must be hard not to worry when you had a bad experience with dc1 in Maidstone then good with dcs2&3 but in a different hospital.

My MIL refused to go into one hospital with her ds2 becasue of what happened with ds1, but was ok in there with ds3. IYSWIM

Good luck, hope everything goes well and how you want it to

Glad to hear you are feeling better. My friends mum had a knee replacement at maidstone last week and she said the staff were attentive and the ward was ultra clean.... looks like they may have improved for the better...
