Is this a good sign?

I had a sweep on Tuesday after which I bleed a bit but nothing happened. Each night since then I have had some period type cramps and this morning I had some blood tinged discharge. Is this a good sign? I am 40 + 6 today.

Just home from hospital with my wee boy Dareh. Born on Sunday at 3.57 am 7.5 pounds. The birth was half good half not so good - feel a bit shell shocked right now but also delighted. Thanks for all the support!
