Hi. I'm just wondering if anyone has any knowledge on what would happen with regards to childbirth after a previously healed broken hip/ pelvis. My hip and pelvis broke in 2015 due to complications of a brain tumour...I am fully recovered but I have pins in my hip....I was just wondering whether anyone has had any experience of this....should I be expecting a conversation about a caesarean?

Also....I suffered a stillbirth 14 years ago due to being 2 weeks and 2 days overdue....I've always been told that labour would be started early (one week probably) to ensure that this doesn't happen again. Has anyone else had experience of how they manage this in a following pregnancy? Did you feel that the next pregnancy was treated differently and how?

Thank you!!!

Forgot to say, I'm 13+2 with my third pregnancy. I had a stillborn daughter in 2006, followed by a brain tumour, then a mmc so I'm hoping and praying only for a healthy baby.

I would have a c section at 39 weeks, no question

No personal experience but a colleague and his wife had a real bad car crash with broken bones. The wife had a elective C section because of bone damage. I'm sure you have excellent reasons to avoid a natural birth. Ask to see a consultant asap as they a bit of time to book you in
