Does the start of labour feel different with a breech baby

I'm just wondering if anyone has had any experience of going in to labour with a breech baby. I'm wondering if it feels different as there is no head pushing down creating pressure and the following chain of events.

Normal labour and back to back labour are very different so I imagine so. Would probably depend too on if it was sideways or bum down breach.

@AlphaHotelFoxtrot thank you. Not fully bum down but not fully sideways either kind of laying diagonally across me, head under my left rib, bum down on the right side of my pelvis, baby has been in this position since 31 weeks goes up a bit higher then back down a bit lower but never lower than the middle of my side. I'm booked for a c section on the 25th, juat not sure what I'm looking out for beforehand, as today I've felt fairly sicky and had some awfuls pains in my lower pelvis and back but don't know if this is normal with a breech baby at this stage or should I start to think something might be going on

My first was breech. I had nothing to compare it to. The second and third were normal, I don't recall feeling it as different in the hours of actual labour. All the contractions were the same, not affected by head pressure, not so I could tell anyway.

It was different in stage 3. I bled more after the breech.

I had a breech baby. Do not have a hot bath if you think you are in labour. It will speed things up. By the time I realised I was in labour my contractions were 90 seconds apart. By the time I got to hospital I was 7 cm dilated with no pain relief. In short we both almost died and I am utterly traumatised two years on. Won't have any more so no idea what a standard labour is like..........

@TorkTorkBam this baby is my second but my first was many many yrs ago and its waa kind of a blur as I was young and alreadt in hospital due to bleeding when my waters broke, I don't really remember much, Im just going off what I do remember and how my family members have been b4 they went in, Im just scared in case it creeps in on me and I have to get there quickly as its over an hour from here to the hospital.

@Theyweretheworstoftimes thank you for the advice, I will stay away from the bath. I am over an hr from the hospital so worried in case this sneaks in on me if it does start different to normal labour. I'm sorry to hear you had such a rough time

My breech took almost exactly 12 hours from first contraction to cord cut. The hard bit was longer than the later babies. Maybe because it was my first, though the midwife said it took long because the mechanics of it are inefficient.

Mine was fine in the end. Blood loss more than you'd like. Both of us fine. DH more traumatised than me or baby.

Both mine were breech (2 separate pregnancies) and I basically had constant contractions from my waters going but didn’t get past 1cm dilated. I have since read that it is because the bum creates less pressure than the head so your body goes into panic mode and tries to get the baby out.
It Was horrific tbh.
I was booked in for c sections due to babies being breech but both came early.
