Csection mobility

I had an ELCS last time and really struggled with mobility. I tried moving as soon as I could (had c section at 3pm and started walking to bathroom the next morning). I found getting in and out of the car, stairs and getting out of bed so hard. I was wondering whether that was because my abdominal muscles aren’t strong? I wasn’t in pain and didn’t really need any pain killers after the first two days. I just felt physically unable to move. Don’t know how to explain it. So many women seem totally mobile within a day or two. How do they do it?

I was fully mobile after my first emergency cesarean but my planned one was a disaster and mobility was a huge issue for several weeks.

I didn't do anything different second time around.

After 24 hours I was ok and was out about after three or four days with both my sections. I think it's so individual you can't really rely on other people's experiences.
