Hey just wondering has anyone got pregnant again straight away after having a c section ? If so how was the experience

You should wait. It’s dangerous as you won’t have healed and you could tear along the scar.

I had a friend who was pregnant again a month after a c-section. She had lots of extra checks and had to have another c-section. She was otherwise fine although she didn't work so never had to over-exert herself.

Yeh I know I have heard it's quite dangerous. I'm just worried I may be pregnant but it's too soon to even check. So I just wanted to know if someone has been through it an share their experience

@KellyHall wow a month after having a baby. Well Atleast your friend was ok an she got through it fine. I'm just a little worried if I am pregnant as I don't know how my body will take it after having c section already.

You would need a early scan due to potential interference from scar tissue - you can buy one privately from 6-7 weeks rather than wait to see if the NHS will provide one, just make sure it comes with a consultant review / report so you can show your NHS consultant.

@GrumpyHoonMain at the moment I'm not too sure if I'm pregnant as it's too soon to check. But hopefully I'm not lol thanks for advice
