Anything good to say about North Middlesex Hospital?

I'm 31 weeks and hoping to have my baby at home, if there are any problems though, North MIddlesex Hopsital in Enfield is my closest by a long way. I can hardly find any reviews of the services there and those few that I've found have been awful. So has anyone had a baby there recently? How was it? I would really appreciate any comeents good or bad because I'm getting scared about it and don't know what to do!

Thanks

Sorry, I'm not from your area so know nothing about North Middlesex... hopefully someone will post soon and give you some reassurance.

Best wishes to you and your baby! Hope you have a positive birth experience, wherever it is

Hi Lizalita,

Try this web site, just discovered it and I love it, shmae they don't have a review yet about the hospital but plenty of info

Lizalita I can't comment on the maternity services at North Mid but I have been to the hospital a couple of times and have to say I don't like it at all. But I don't want to scare you so hopefully someone can give you specific info on maternity services.

I gave birth at Chase Farm, don't know if this is an option for you? It is a much-maligned hospital but I couldn't really fault the level of care I had there (was in Ridgeway Birth Centre, transferred to the labour ward for epidural and ventouse).

Hopefully you will have your wished-for home birth anyway and this will all be a moot point
