Are maternity pads and big knickers going to cut it or do i need disposable underwear?

I am 38 weeks and had my hospital bag packed for two weeks but now going mad thinking what if I don't have everything I need!

It's my first if you couldn't already tell Wink

I found disposable undies sweaty and horrible. First time around unused single use pads and Primark granny pants. C section.
2nd time around minivivi reusable pads and normal pants. Vaginal birth and a lot of stitches.

I wondered the same thing with my first baby born four months ago and I’m so glad I didn’t waste my money on disposable knickers!
Maternity pads and some big pants from primark were absolutely fine.
Apparently the fit of lots of disposable knickers is really off, I spent a lot of time reading reviews of them online to make sure 😂

I had vaginal and stitches and just wore normal underwear (old ones though that I could bin) and maternity pads for first couple of days. Then just sanitary towels and normal underwear as I didn’t bleed a huge amount! Wouldn’t even contemplate the disposal underwear 🙈

I did primark granny pants and ASDA maternity pads.
They gave me a pair of maternity pants in hospital (when I had to get off the bed because I was sick everywhere 🤦🏼‍♀️) and they were HORRENDOUS.

Well they looked and felt grim, don't know how effective they were as this was mid-labour.
