How do I stop labor?

DH has the flu, I'm coming down with it, I'm 39+3 and I've got mild surges coming ten minutes or so apart.

I'd really rather put the whole thing off until we're feeling better. Suggestions?

Running on adrenalin here...

Isabella Coco was born this afternoon via home water birth at 3:47 pm. She weighed 7 pounds 5 oz and was bright purple at birth!

She's sleeping happily on her daddy's chest so I can say thanks to MN for all your support and advice over the past nine.

CONGRATULATIONS, possible you didnt have flu i felt fluey the week before i gave birth and that was height of summer and it magically went afterwards
